Hello, I’m Aritra
I picked up a camera in college the way most people pick up a habit — slowly, then all at once. What began as curiosity turned into a fifteen-year love affair with light, faces, and the small human moments that never announce themselves.
I photograph weddings the way I’d want mine remembered. Not staged. Not shouted. Just gently paid attention to. The look your grandmother gives you before you walk in. The way your partner’s hands shake a little during the vows. The laughter that spills out at the reception when nobody’s watching.
Those are the pictures I chase. Everything else is a by-product.
The Approach
01
I’ll never ask you to fake a laugh or re-do the first kiss. Real moments make real photographs.
02
My edits will still feel right in twenty years — soft, warm, and true to how the day actually looked.
03
You get me, not a rotating team. One steady person quietly holding the camera through it all.

“A photograph should feel like a memory you didn’t know you had.”
